Rose Hot Cocoa

There’s something about a mug of hot cocoa that instantly switches your nervous system into safe and cozy mode. And when you infuse it with romantic, medicinal flowers, it becomes so much more than just a warm treat. This rose-kissed cocoa is rich, heart-opening, and delicately floral – perfect for an evening with someone you love (including yourself!). Sip it slowly and remember that softening is medicine.

Cocoa ingredients (serves 2):

  • 2 cups milk of choice

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 scoop collagen

  • 1 tbsp dried rose petals

  • 1 tbsp (or more) maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 dropper Flowers for My Love

Whip ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream

  • 1 dropper Flowers for My Love

  • ½ tbsp freeze-dried strawberry powder or strawberry-flavored protein powder

Method:

  • Add milk and rose petals to a small saucepan and gently warm over low heat for about 10 minutes, allowing the roses to infuse.
  • Remove from heat and strain out the rose petals.
  • Whisk in the cocoa powder, collagen, maple syrup, and Flowers for My Love. Return to low heat and warm through while you prepare the whip.
  • In a small bowl, combine the heavy cream, Flowers for My Love, and strawberry powder. Froth with a hand frother until light and fluffy.
  • Pour the cocoa into two mugs and top with strawberry whip and a few rose petals, if desired.

Summary

Warm, bitter-sweet cocoa naturally supports nervous system regulation by grounding the body and encouraging slower, deeper breathing. Infusing it with rose adds a heart-opening, soothing quality that supports emotional processing and gentle relaxation. Paired with Flowers for My Love, this ritual becomes a somatic cue for safety—inviting the body out of tension and into softness through warmth, aroma, and slow, intentional sipping.
