Have you tried using herbs in your hair care yet? If not, this is your gentle nudge to start now. This simple hair rinse is stimulating, strengthening, and deeply cleansing without ever feeling harsh or drying. It’s infused with a mineral-rich blend of nettle and horsetail to support strong, healthy strands, rosemary to boost circulation, and sage to balance oil production and soothe inflammation. Everything steeps in raw apple cider vinegar, which clarifies your scalp, removes buildup, and restores shine all without stripping your natural oils.
For an inside-out approach to your hair, pair this rinse with Mane Magic. While the rinse works on the surface to strengthen and refresh, Mane Magic nourishes from within with TCM-inspired herbs that build blood and feed your follicles. Together, they’re a complete herbal hair stack.

So let’s make you an herbal rinse!
You’ll Need:
-
A small bunch of horsetail
-
A small bunch of rosemary
-
A small bunch of sage
-
A small bunch of nettle leaves
-
Raw apple cider vinegar
-
Water
-
Optional: extra rosemary infusion to use instead of plain water for a double dose of scalp support
The Method:
-
Add all of your herbs to a clean glass pint jar. You can lightly crush or bruise them to release more of their healing volatile oils.
-
Pour apple cider vinegar over the herbs until they’re fully submerged.
-
Seal with a plastic lid or place a piece of parchment under the metal lid (to prevent corrosion from the vinegar).
-
Let the mixture infuse in a cool, dark place for at least 1 week.
-
When ready to use, strain out the herbs and dilute the infusion with water according to your hair/scalp type:
-
1:4 ACV: water ratio for normal hair
-
1:2 for oily hair
-
1:6 for very sensitive scalps
-
After shampooing, pour the rinse over your scalp and hair. Let it sit for a few minutes (while you do the rest of your shower routine), then rinse with water or leave it in as a no-wash treatment.
-
Use 1-2 times a week for best results.
-
Optional, use it with a rosemary infusion instead of water to amp up the scalp-stimulating benefits!
